1. Eligibility and Account Registration

AA ColliForge is designed primarily for university students, software engineers, academic faculty, and tech innovators across Pakistan and globally. By using the platform:

• You must be at least 16 years of age or enrolled in a recognized university or higher education institution.
• You agree to provide true, accurate, current, and complete registration information (including your name, university affiliation, and valid contact details).
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and account password.
• You may not impersonate any person, student, academic faculty member, or university organization.

2. Account Security & Compromised Accounts

You are solely responsible for all activities that occur under your account. If you discover or suspect unauthorized access, credential theft, or that your account has been compromised or hacked:

AA ColliForge reserves the right to suspend or freeze accounts exhibiting suspicious activity, brute-force attempts, or unauthorized access to safeguard the campus developer network.

3. Intellectual Property Rights & Code Ownership

Students and Developers Retain 100% Ownership:

• You retain all intellectual property rights, copyrights, and patents to the software, source code, designs, documentation, and project artifacts you create and publish on AA ColliForge.
• AA ColliForge does not claim ownership or proprietary rights over your code, hackathon submissions, or Final Year Projects (FYP).
• By creating a public project or post on AA ColliForge, you grant us only a limited, non-exclusive license to host, index, display, and analyze your project metadata (e.g., tech stack, repository statistics, team seat availability) to provide search, leaderboard rankings, and collaboration features.

4. Student Code of Conduct & Academic Integrity

AA ColliForge is built on mutual trust, academic integrity, and respectful collaboration. You agree not to:

• Plagiarize or fraudulently claim authorship of other students’ work, repositories, or FYP projects.
• Engage in harassment, hate speech, defamation, cyberbullying, or discriminatory conduct toward other developers or university peers.
• Upload, share, or transmit malware, malicious scripts, viruses, or exploit payloads.
• Scrape, crawl, or harvest user data or contact details without explicit written authorization.
• Manipulate university leaderboards, technical scores, or ranking algorithms through bot traffic, false commits, or fraudulent activity.

Violations of the Student Code of Conduct may result in immediate suspension, account deactivation, and notification of the respective university administration.

5. AI Tools, Code Audits & Repository Integrations

AA ColliForge incorporates AI-driven code auditing, team formation recommendations, and career mentorship features:

• AI Suggestions are Advisory: AI-generated code reviews, architectural feedback, and interview coaching are provided for educational and guidance purposes. You remain solely responsible for the testing, security, and deployment of your software.
• GitHub & Third-Party Services: When you connect your GitHub repository or third-party OAuth, you agree to comply with third-party terms. We inspect public commit history, languages, and activity only to compile your developer score and squad profile.

6. Platform Availability and Service Modifications

We continuously improve AA ColliForge to provide the best student developer experience. While we strive for 99.9% uptime:

• We may modify, update, suspend, or discontinue certain features, tools, or APIs at any time.
• We are not liable for any temporary downtime, maintenance windows, server interruptions, or third-party service outages.

7. Account Termination and Deactivation

You have the freedom to deactivate or delete your account at any time through your Profile Settings.

• Upon soft-deletion, your profile and squads are archived. You can restore your account within the grace period simply by signing in.
• AA ColliForge reserves the right to terminate or ban accounts that violate these Terms, participate in unauthorized access, or breach community safety rules.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties & Limitation of Liability

AA ColliForge is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, AA ColliForge, its founders, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or loss of profits, data, or academic grading resulting from your use of or inability to use the platform.

9. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any legal action or dispute arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of Pakistan.
